What information do we gather about you?

We only gather the information we need in order to communicate with you.  This includes phone numbers, email addresses, and mailing addresses.  BlueRidgeBallroom.com does not collect credit card information or financial data as we are a community information service only.  We attempt to keep the website updated with all of the same information that may come out in the newsletter.  You do not have to give us any information in order to have full access to what's available.  The primary benefit of the e-newsletter is that it does alert you quickly to time-sensitive events that you might miss if you don't look at the site regularly.  Weather closings, Breaking News, and one-time workshops are three examples.

How we use this information

We have an e-newsletter that comes out as needed to keep you updated on what is happening at the Ballroom and in the dance community, information about other organizations that may be of interest to our clients, and to notify people of closings and changes in schedule.  Emails are also used for direct communication with a particular client.  Mailing addresses and phone numbers are used for the same purposes.
